I believe the 2.4G version (with external antennae connector) was around $200, maybe slightly more. The Chanalyzer 4 software was free for download from the MetaGeek site

The 2.4 + 5Ghz is in the $500 price range. I would have gone that route (and it's probably worth it), but seeing as how everything I'm working on is 2.4G, I saved a few (hundred) bucks.

The 2.4Gx Pro (with Chanalyzer Pro software)is appx $500... I've not really looked into it's benefits, again the normal regular 2.4G is ample for what I'm looking to do.

Just wondering how much the antenna/software + antenna was.

I forget if that company is the one that sold them, but I remember someone who made a wifi program also included an antenna with it for $50 or so.

Might have been netstubmler..not sure..

or I just might have got my prices mixed up (I notice they go for $500+)

Currently thinking about buying either a b/g or n USB dongle with external antenna as they don't have a b/g/n for a decent price ($10 shipped each on amazon)
